Since both our co-workers’ and our customers’ health and safety are a priority, we have instituted a dedicated RPO (Risk Prevention at Onet) policy for the benefit of both groups.
Risk Prevention at Onet (RPO) is a policy designed to sustainably establish a genuine health and safety culture across the entire Group thereby serving as a reference in this area.
Risk Prevention at Onet means adopting an integrated and responsible approach to risk prevention both within Onet and also in our external environment whether at our customers’ sites, public locations, or when our coworkers are traveling.
Quality of Life at Work includes occupational equality, good relationships and dialog within the company, occupational health, and the degree of autonomy and involvement enjoyed by each employee, and the extent to which employee expectations are taken into account.
Since 2008, Onet has operated a toll-free telephone hotline staffed by psychologists, thereby offering many employees support and assistance at key points in their lives by allowing them to talk to a professional. Between 2010 and 2014, over 1,000 managers throughout the Group were trained in preventing risks to mental health (psychosocial risks).
Various agreements were signed in 2010 regarding psychosocial risk prevention. A broader effort was launched at a Group-wide level in 2016. This goes beyond the strictly legal framework and moves from psychosocial risk prevention toward an all-encompassing approach focused on the quality of life at work.
Growing together and developing our model
The Onet Group has always seen ongoing training as a strategic investment in terms of helping our employees to progress, supporting them, and seeing them grow to contribute jointly to their advancement.
As a signatory to the French national Diversity Charter, Onet is committed to making social inclusion an operational reality.
In particular, this reality is illustrated in our proven ability to hire, train, and offer career development to those who are marginalized from the workplace because of a lack of qualifications or for reasons of disability, inactivity, age, or other factors.
In this context, Onet has developed a program known as OASIS, which familiarizes our managers with recruitment practices that respect the principles of diversity.
Skills development also falls within the inclusion-related measures implemented by the Group. This is reflected in our partnership with the federation of “GEIQ” associations. These groupings of employers are the main forum in France for promoting the employment of young people. The battle against illiteracy is another key aspect of the company’s efforts to support social inclusion for some of its employees.
Finally, the Onet 2016-2020 Disabled Persons Plan places inclusion at the heart not just of our HR management processes but also our supplier relationships and offering to customers.
These commitments – which are both human and social in nature – are part of the Group’s DNA and enable us to turn our differences into a positive benefit.
As the national leader in professional cleaning, Onet has to continuously consider ways to improve its products not only in order to make them ever more effective but also so that they are respectful of the environment and harmless to people.
To improve the technical and environmental performance of its cleaning services, during 2017-2018 Onet is rolling
out to its customers a global cleaning solution named Biogistic. This is based on:
- Eco-labeled cleaning products manufactured using biotechnology.
- A mobile dilution plant titled the "Dilumob."
- A logistics solution based on agile sourcing.
Whatever its nature, every form of product waste must be handled in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner. Thanks to these practices as well as the partnerships in place, Onet is actively working to reduce and re-use its waste and effluents.
Control of our waste and effluents (process, reduce, re-use, recycle) is a major pillar of our roadmap 2016-2020, as demonstrated in 2017 by a prioritization of measures aimed at optimizing our various waste streams.
Fairness, honesty, respect for others and the environment: these are the values that make up the Company’s ethical foundation.
They represent behaviors and practices that Onet wishes to incorporate in a set of general rules.
The alignment of our values, our mission, our social responsibility commitments, and our practices depends on the adoption of appropriate behaviors and the vigilance of every individual. With this in mind, the Group developed and introduced a comprehensive system in 2017.
